The installation features 2,000 branches gathered from the woods behind Jose Rizal Park, assembled into a 350-foot spiral that ascends in height toward a central young tree. Bryan Ohno is the conceptual designer for this piece, and it was brought to life with the help of over 250 volunteers, ranging from youth to seniors in 2012 at the Lake Union Park from a grant from the Seattle Parks & Recreation, Gates Foundation and Seattle University.
