Soos Creek Studio’s Community Cultural Food and Pottery Potluck Circle is an ongoing event starting in 2023 where people from different cultural backgrounds and generations from Kent, Washington join a circle to share their regional foods with other communities.
It is a gathering where families and children from different backgrounds and traditions get together and share a new cuisine, make pottery for the food to be eaten off of. It is an atmosphere of creative positivity, a chance to foster new friendship that otherwise may not happen in our regular daily life.
We believe eating and making pottery together breakdown the barriers and fears enriching new bonds with each fellow neighbor in Kent.
